Faculty Profile

Dr. Pinky Dureja is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics. She is the senior most faculty in the department with over thirty years of experience. She did her graduation, post-graduation, M.Phil and Ph.d from University of Delhi and was a merit scholarship holder throuhgout. She has four publications to her credit in the renowned journals of Physics. She has worked as Chairperson of Sexual Harassment Committee, Secretary of Staff Council, Convener of Cultural Society and has also been in the Monitoring Committee of internal assessment. In addition, she has been actively involved in several administrative duties of the college.

  3. In the committee of courses for Physical Sciences for two years to appoint paper setters from 2014 to 2016.
  4. Staff Council Secretary for two consecutive years (2007 – 2009).
  5. Coordinator of the Physics Department for three years.
  6. Convener of the Cultural Society for three years (2000 -2002 and 2004 – 2005) and its member for many years. Organized Fetcha-Fest and Tide (College Festival).
  7. Associated with Rangayan for several years, organized drama workshop culminating in the production of two plays.
  8. Member of Purchase, Time Table, Discipline, Fee Concession, Common-Room (Girls) committee etc. for many years.
  9. Have been involved actively in Paper Setting and Evaluation of theory as well as practical papers.
