Manjula Sholapurkar is an Associate Professor of English at ARSD college New Delhi. Over a career spanning thirty years she has taught a variety of courses and texts in English Language and Literature at the undergraduate level. The early years of her teaching career were largely dominted by traditional English Literature Studies -- Renaissance to Modernism. Revisionary changes in canon and syllabi gave her the oppotunity to broaden her understanding and critical inquiry. For her this has continued to be a personal motivation to study and teach Post - Colonial Writing and Literary Theory. Her areas of interest also include Media and Communication, Gender Studies and Popular Culture.
