77th Aazadi Mahotsav

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College commemorated the ending events of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, on the occasion of 77th independence day.

The event was honored with the hosting of the national flag. The ceremony was inaugurated by our distinguished chief guest Shreet Pawan Jaggi who set the tone for the morning's festivities. In his compelling address, the principal eloquently highlighted the significance of this historic milestone and urged everyone to uphold the values that our freedom gave us. The stirring rendition of the patriotic poem 'Sada Hindustan rahe' by Abhyudaya, a student from ARSD College echoed the sentiments of a resurgent India, ready to conquer new horizons.

The stage was then graced by young NCC cadets, who shared their thoughts on the spirit of discipline, unity, and service through a mesmerizing NCC performance that left the audience in awe. The heartwarming melody of "Teri Mitti" touched the souls of those present, evoking a deep sense of belonging and attachment to the motherland. The traditional game of "Lukka Chupi" and the mellifluous "Ae Vatan" further added a touch of nostalgia to the event.

The cultural extravaganza continued with a captivating performance by Saarang, the music society of ARSD College which skillfully blended modern beats with traditional tunes, depicting the harmonious blend of old and new in our diverse nation. Patriotic songs like "Vande Mataram," "Swadesh," and "Azaadi" reverberated through the air, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made for our freedom.

The NSS children stole hearts with their vibrant performance on "India Waale," spreading the message of unity. The morning was enriched with thought-provoking performances like the street play titled "Jai Hind Jai Bharat" by Rangayan, the drama society of ARSD, which underscored the importance of national pride. The cultural segment commenced with the captivating dance by Kalashree, the Indian dance society on the theme Anokha Bharat showcasing the dance performances that beautifully captured the essence of our diverse India.

As the event came to an end, the enchanting melodies of patriotic songs stirred deep emotions, and the resounding chorus of "Hum Sab Bharatiya Hain" left everyone with a sense of unity and belonging.

The celebration was a testament to India's unwavering spirit, resilience, and boundless potential. Jai Hind! Jai Bharat!
