The Society for Creative Writing at ARSD College proudly presents an engaging seminar titled “Microcosmic Splendor: The Cinematically Self-Contained World of Bengali Short Stories.” We invite you to embark on an odyssey through the rich landscape of Bengali literature. We are honored to welcome our distinguished speaker, Ms. Bhaswati Ghosh, an accomplished writer and translator of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry.

About the Speaker:
Ms. Bhaswati’s writing has appeared in several literary journals, and she has been honored as a featured writer at the Toronto International Festival of Authors. She lives in Ontario, Canada. Her first book of fiction is Victory Colony, 1950. Her first work of translation from Bengali into English is My Days with Ramkinkar Baij. Her first book of poetry is forthcoming shortly from Copper Coin Press. She is a true master in the art of bringing cultural folklore before the world to experience it in all its spellbinding and alluring nature.
