The National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit of Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College organised two-day Annual Cultural Fest “Sangharsh 2020” on 19-20 February 2020. Some eminent personalities were invited as a Guest of Honour like Mr. Sandeep Chaudhary, World Champion 2019 (Para Athletics), Mr. Krishna Baiyapuriya, professional wrestler, Ms. Pavitra, boxer. They emphasised the importance of discipline and smart work in today's life. Hon'ble Col. Anup Avasthi was also invited to grace the occasion. Sir guided the youth about passion and zeal in life. Apart from this, the presence of Mr. Sanjeev Vedhwan, well know personality (director & scriptwriter) along with his team, Ms. Aditi (daughter) and Ms. Renuka Panwar (Indian singer) motivated the cadets. On this occasion, various intercollegiate teams (college and schools) participated in cultural and sports activities. Various competitions such as quarter guard, drill and cultural events, etc., were organised. Best cadets with special achievements were facilitated by the Principal and the chief guest.
ARSD NCC organizes its Annual Fest every year in the month of February. In the year 2019, more than 25 colleges participated in the various events that took place in the span of two days. These events were Drill Competition, Best Cadet, Guard of Honour, Group Dance, Solo Singing, Obstacle Race.Cadets of ARSD NCC also demonstrated self defence techniques called Krav Maga. The cadets demonstrated Surgical Strike and Section Attack within the college premises. These demonstrations attracted large number of participating cadets as well students from the college itself.
