Our Department

The faculty members actively take part in various seminars , symposia. etc. to keep themselves afresh with newer trends in Biology. The department also regularly organize seminars and workshops. The practicals are supported by excellent laboratory facilities and well-trained faculty members. Regular field trips to make the students aware of ecological and environment issue, arranging lectures by eminent scholar in different fields of Biology, increasing the creative skills of the students through the seminars, project works, quiz / programs etc. are some of the methods adopted by the faculty to make the teaching – learning process more interesting and purposeful. The Faculty members undertake continuous challenges to improve their teaching skills.
