    The Department of Physics, in collaboration with IQAC and the DBT Star College Scheme at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (University of Delhi), is thrilled to announce the 3rd Online International Conference on Recent Advances in Functional Materials (RAFM-2026). This premier event will be hosted fully online from April 16-17, 2026.
    About the Conference
    Functional materials are essential drivers behind cutting-edge technologies and human development. RAFM-2026 is designed to gather researchers, scientists, industry experts, and academicians to explore recent developments and the vast potential of these materials across diverse applications. Our goal is to foster an intellectually stimulating platform for innovation, knowledge exchange, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
    Key Conference Topics
    We invite participants to engage in dynamic discussions covering a wide array of topics, including:
    • Multifunctional, smart, and advanced materials.
    • Biomaterials and polymers.
    • Perovskite solar cells and materials for energy applications.

    Paper Presentation & Publication
    Oral presentations will be conducted seamlessly via Zoom or Google Meet. All participants will receive e-certificates for participation and presentation, with a special award for the Best Oral Presentation. Furthermore, presented research papers that pass the peer-review process will be published in Scopus-indexed and peer-reviewed journals.

    दिनांक: 10 जुलाई 2025 | समय: दोपहर 12:00 बजे

    गुरु पूर्णिमा भारतीय परंपरा में गुरु के प्रति श्रद्धा, कृतज्ञता तथा मार्गदर्शन के सम्मान का प्रतीक पर्व है। इसी अवसर पर आत्माराम सनातन धर्म महाविद्यालय में 10 जुलाई 2025 को एक भव्य एवं भावनात्मक समारोह का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ दोपहर 12:00 बजे सरस्वती वंदना एवं दीप प्रज्वलन के साथ हुआ।
    इस विशेष अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में कॉलेज के पूर्व छात्र एवं दिल्ली सरकार के कैबिनेट मंत्री श्री आशिष सूद उपस्थित रहे। मंच पर कॉलेज के प्राचार्य प्रो. ज्ञानतोष कुमार झा, गवर्निंग बॉडी की चेयरपर्सन प्रो. डॉ. महिमा ठाकुर तथा कोषाध्यक्ष प्रो. अनिल कुमार अनेजा भी विराजमान थे।
    मुख्य अतिथि श्री सूद ने कॉलेज एवं शिक्षकों के प्रति अपनी गहन श्रद्धा प्रकट करते हुए कहा कि आज जो कुछ भी वे हैं, उसमें ARSD कॉलेज तथा उनके गुरुओं की निर्णायक भूमिका रही है। उन्होंने गुरु पूर्णिमा जैसे पावन अवसर पर अपने शिक्षकों से पुनः भेंट को अत्यंत भावुक और प्रेरणादायक अनुभव बताया। श्री सूद ने वरिष्ठ शिक्षकों को शॉल एवं पौधा भेंट कर सम्मानित किया तथा चरण स्पर्श कर उनका आशीर्वाद प्राप्त किया। उन्होंने कॉलेज की सतत प्रगति, नवाचार तथा उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धियों की विशेष सराहना की और प्राचार्य प्रो. ज्ञानतोष कुमार झा को इस पुनर्मिलन हेतु आमंत्रण देने तथा उनकी इच्छा का सम्मान करने के लिए हार्दिक धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया।
    डॉ. महिमा ठाकुर ने रामायण के प्रसंगों के माध्यम से गुरु–शिष्य परंपरा की महत्ता को रेखांकित किया। प्रो. झा ने श्री सूद की पहल को प्रेरणास्पद बताया, वहीं प्रो. अनेजा ने उनके समर्पण, प्रतिबद्धता और उपलब्धियों की प्रशंसा की।
    श्री आशिष सूद द्वारा कॉलेज के अपने पूर्व शिक्षकों – श्री एस.पी. मदान, डॉ. जे.एल. गुप्ता, श्री नरेश धवन, श्री वी.के. जैन, डॉ. राजवीर शर्मा, डॉ. विमल धवन, डॉ. एस.सी. झा तथा श्री जे.एस. आर्य – को भावभीना सम्मान प्रदान किया गया। मंच पर एमसीडी पार्षद श्री जयवीर राणा भी उपस्थित रहे।

    इस गरिमामय समारोह में कॉलेज के संकाय सदस्य, अशैक्षणिक कर्मचारी एवं छात्रगण बड़ी संख्या में सम्मिलित हुए।
    कार्यक्रम का संचालन IQAC संयोजिका प्रो. विनीता तुली ने किया, तथा धन्यवाद ज्ञापन प्रो. अंजलि गुप्ता द्वारा प्रस्तुत किया गया।
