Digital Resources & Networking
The College Library provides comprehensive access to various e-resources subscribed to by the University of Delhi. To ensure seamless connectivity, the library is equipped with 35 dedicated PCs allowing students to access DULS resources, DELNET databases, and other open-access materials.
Furthermore, the library is officially registered with the Developing Library Network (DELNET) to facilitate efficient book loans for both faculty and students, alongside broadening online resource availability. As a member of the One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) initiative, we enable our academic community to enjoy remote access to a vast array of global online resources.
Accessible Learning (Divyangjan Section)
Dedicated to fostering an inclusive educational environment, the library features a separate section specifically designed for Divyang students. This accessibility hub is furnished with 10 computers and specialized assistive technologies, including JAWS software, INDO-NVDA software, and educational CDs. Additional cutting-edge equipment such as the Daisy Reader, Evo 11, Zoomax LUNA 6, and KIBO XS 2024 are available to fully support visually impaired and differently-abled learners.
Automation & Security Systems
Library operations are modernized using the SOUL 3.0 Integrated Library Management Software, fully automating all housekeeping and cataloging tasks. This software powers our Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) module, with 2 dedicated PCs readily available for users to search and locate required documents independently.
To ensure the safety of our extensive collections and our patrons, the College Library has installed an advanced Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) electronic security system. Additionally, the premises are monitored around the clock via a network of 32 IP-based CCTV cameras deployed for strict security purposes.
